Eligibility Criteria for Becoming a Pilot After 12th
To become a pilot after 12th in India, you must meet certain eligibility criteria. Academically, you need to have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board. A minimum age of 17 years is required to begin flying training. You must also clear a DGCA Class 2 medical examination to ensure you're physically and mentally fit to fly. Good eyesight (with or without correction), hearing, and general health are essential. Once eligible, you can join a DGCA-approved flying school, complete ground classes, pass DGCA exams, and complete 200 hours of flying to earn your CPL.
